South Dakota

Here are some pictures from South Dakota.

Members of the search committee showing us the parsonage.

This could be our house.

This picture was taken in the cultural center.  The animal was HUGE!

Need any tires?

The church.

I met a REAL COWBOY at the gas station!!!

My momma and I.  :)  he came to pick us up from the airport on Thursday, and took us to dinner at Oliver Garden.

I never really realized how much you look like your mom. I've always thought you looked like your dad, but now seeing this photo of you and your mom, cheek-to-cheek, I see you look a lot like her. Have you ever considered wearing bangs like she does? I think that's what's throwing me off. (Yes, I am THAT big a dork!) I think bangs would suit your face really nicely. What do you mean you didn't ask for my opinion? ;-)

I just started doing the side (longer) bangs in January. They give some more pizazz to my old look. They don't cover my whole face, and I can wear them more styled or forget about them entirely if I like (just brush them away from my face with the rest of my hair). I have fine hair but know others with different kinds of hair who can really rock the look. I just wanted to let you know this as an alternative to the traditional style--a girl's gotta have options! :)

Anyhow, I'm so glad that you put up these pictures! It's neat to see the environ where you might be heading!

By the way, those are some big tires...and a big buffalo head--and they say things are bigger in Texas...pffttt! :) J/K!
