The Weekend Went Like This...

HH at the rehearsal for the wedding he performed on Saturday.  I went to the rehearsal and dinner since I knew the couple from the dance studio that he was marrying.  HH memorized the entire ceremony.  He is good like that.

Saturday started with my mom and I going to Michele's on Goss.  This place was a true treasure!  We loved our lunch there.  The chef there is top notch, and offers cooking classes as well.  As soon as I add the million school dates to my calendar, I will be looking forward to seeing what classes I can add in.

We went to see Jersey Boys afterwards.  Jersey Boys was her mother's day present.  Outside of the theater, I found a sign that was amusing/slightly disturbing.  The sign gave normal disclaimers that strobe lights were used in this production, etc....then it said, "AUTHENTIC JERSEY LANGUAGE" (it was in bold and all caps just like I put it) would be used throughout the show.  The show was really good, and mom and I had a wonderful time.

As soon as I got in, I had to part ways with my mom so HH and I could go have dinner with Alex and Rachel.  Getting out of our car, I couldn't help but notice this sign:

(Sorry image is so blurry)....below it says, "To Protect and Serve...Doughnuts."  What a fun shop!

Alex and Rachel got us flowers to celebrate our recent anniversary.  We had a wonderful dinner at Peking Chinese Bistro.  This is one of the most upscale Chinese restaurants I have eaten at.  We ended the night by watching:

I'm trying to suck out every bit of life I have left of my five remaining days of summer vacation.
