The Snacks Edition

It has been some time since I have written about the types of things I am snacking on.  I wanted to share those with you guys again.  With my WLS, I am on a diet where I watch my carbs, and try to make sure that my snacks have a decent amount of protein.  The key for me is portability, and how quickly I can make the snack.  There is an ebb and flow to it all, and varies by my moods, but here are the main staples:

* Labrada Rock N' Roll Bars  (These really taste just like a Payday candy bar.)
* Cheese of all sorts (Recently I have found I like the Kraf Deli Slices in Garlic and Herb and Bacon and Cheddar)  What I love about cheese is there are so many varieties!  I have been putting slices of cheese on a limited number of flavored Triscuits, just to change things up.
* Pepperoni (I love making pepperoni "chips" in the microwave for forty seconds.  I recently bought pepperoni sticks, and am going to see how I like them.)
* Planters Flavor Grove Almonds (Cracked Pepper with Onion and Sea Salt and Olive Oil are my favorites!)
* Pumpkin seeds
* Beef Jerky (I only like the Oberto brand, and I am having a more difficult time finding it.)
* Small "snack" containers of Jif peanut butter
* Sugar Free Dove Chocolates (Mint and I just bought Peanut Butter Creme ones today!  They MUST be chilled in the fridge.)
