Hi-Ho....

So I check my work email, and realize I have to work today!  I found this out about 9:00 last night!  I knew we had two extra days before other schools, but I thought they were Wednesday/Thursday, not Tuesday/Wednesday.  I changed the plans I had made for the day pushing one to start at 4:30, and then rescheduling lunch with my brother on Thursday.

I found one of my former students on Facebook last night.  She was from the first class I taught.  (My first class of fourth graders just graduated high school.)  I knew she was a sharp cookie, and she is going off this fall to college to major in biology.  I sent her a message wishing her well.

I am going to be teaching Cubbies on Sunday nights at my church.  FOUR YEAR OLDS.  Nothing makes me more nervous than a room full of small children.  This is truly something that God has put on my heart, because I can't tell you how excited I am about doing this!  HH will also be helping out in the games department, so he will work with all ages.  Chitown Girl, I may be coming to you for some advice about herding cats soon!!!!

I'm new to Groupon.  They offer gift certificates of the day to local area businesses.  Last week I totally scored an hour long hot rock massage for $30.  Although I have never had one of these, I thought this would be the perfect time to take advantage of it!  I'm scheduling my appointment within the next month.  I think that will be a perfect getting back into the school year groove treat for me.

My sister and her husband should be completely moved out of my parent's house today or tomorrow.  Her husband told a lie to my dad in which dad confronted him about yesterday.  My parents also had $85 missing between the two of them.  They have always been good about knowing how much money is in their wallet, so I know it wasn't an oversight.  The grief she is causing them is so mind numbing.  They need Jesus so desperately.

I want to do the Cubbies!!! I'm so jealous!

I've always wanted to try a rodck massage. Let me know how it goes.

I'm so sorry your parents are having to put up with such nonsense. I hope your sister wakes up soon.

Oh, how I love Groupon. It's a great way to try new restaurants and services without paying full price.
If there is a place you want to try, suggest a business to them... it worked for me a few times!
Good luck starting back up with work!

Groupon is awesome! I haven't purchased anything yet but I've been excited to see the deals each day.

Have a good first day back at school!
