So I complain about my weight last night, and this morning I am down two pounds. That puts me at an eight pound loss for the month. I currently weigh 177 pounds. Had I known all it took was complaining, I would have done so a lot sooner. Ha Ha!
I like it when my body cooperates with me. I eat the right things for my DS diet, and I see a change on the scale. However, my body (as all bodies) can be fickle. That is when it gets tough...when you are doing all the right things, and the result is not on the scale. The number on the scale matters, and always will. I never, ever want to go back to what I was.
Two more days, and I am skydiving. I am nervous, but I want to do this.

Perspective...
What I regret the most is all the stories that I don't have to tell.
Thinking about this statement really explains how people who have been thin all their life really don't understand some of the things people "have" to do once they have lost their weight. There are many things I cannot make up.... lack of prom dates in high school, etc.
Yet, as I have dropped the weight, there are MANY things I can make up. My life story is not over. Although truth be told, August of 2006, I did not have much hope. I was imprisoned by fat. Not only was I dying, I was so unhealthy, that I couldn't afford to truly live the days I had left.
So many fat people have made a "list" of things they want to do as they lose the weight. Some lists contain things that seem so odd to thin people, such as take a bath in the tub, or be able to walk in a room and not have people stare at you. Other lists are more radical, and include many big goals that seem "outrageous." I have several outrageous items on my list, but man am I ever itching to do them. There are stories that I will never have, but there are also some GREAT stories that are in the works of being created in my life. One of them is happening in 37 days....skydiving. This former 393.6 pound girl is going to just from a plane to feel a rush that words cannot express.
Seize the day!

My Reward for When I Reach ONEDERLAND

I have tossed many things back and forth in my head about how I will celebrate hitting ONEDERLAND, but I have decided I am going to go
SKYDIVING!!!!!
I have already emailed the local place to find out about height and weight restrictions. I am hoping that 199 will let me in. I've heard they will go up to 235 (usually for males). This past eight months really has been an amazing ride, and I want to do something BIG when I hit ONEDERLAND. I am ordering the video of my skydiving adventure when I do it, and will post it to the blog!

Moving Down
I weighed in at 228 pounds this morning. I have lost 165.8 pounds!!! I am 37 pounds from an overweight BMI. Man this feels so good.
I am eight pounds away from the lowest weight I achieved on Phen-Phen. In the back of my head there is that thought that I will get stuck, and not go below 220. I don't want to think that way. I want to know what it feels like to do so many things....I am thinking about when I reach ONEderland I will celebrate by SKYDIVING! :)
I am going to really think through what I want my strategy to be over the next ten months of my window. I am a "game plan" type of person. More on that in the next week or so.
On another odd note....before long I may be able to SEE my BELLY BUTTON. I was looking in the mirror, and I still have fat on my stomach, but it is remarkably shrinking. Wouldn't that be cool to actually see my belly buttom without having to lift a layer of fat?
