This is my wedding dress! I knew that I didn't want a dress with a big train on it, so that eliminated about 60% of my choices. This was the first dress that I tried on. It is simple, yet very elegant. I'm going to have sleeves put on the dress. I got the dress in a size 8.
This is a picture of Ben and I celebrating our engagement with my students. It was taken on Tuesday. It was fun to be able to tell my students about our special day, and I am hoping to make arrangements so that most of my students can attend.I am trying to make sure that I keep up-to-date recent pictures on my blog. There are a few reasons for this:
1) I've ran from the camera all my life, so I'm starting to become more comfortable in front of the camera.
2) ACCOUNTABILITY: Putting regular pictures of myself on the blog will require me to stay real about where I am with my weight. I noticed a friend's facebook profile pic, and I honestly didn't recognize them. I then realized that the picture was about three years old. Don't get me wrong, I've done the same before...just picked a picture, and kept it around for a long time. Knowing that people are reading this blog, will help me to be more accountable.
On another note...eating out. Today I did something that I did not like. With my DS, at the stage I'm in now, my stomach capacity is larger. I had about 10 more fries than I should have. I was already full. I didn't need them at all. I am going to have my plate removed from now on, or go ahead and put things into a to-go box. I would not be reopening the to-go box several times. Yes, it is a small thing, but something I need to work on.
