Baking for the Bank

Year 12 of teaching is in the books.  The last day for students was Tuesday, and I finished up yesterday.  The end of this year was hard.  Last year, my student Tanner helped clean up my entire room.  He committed suicide last fall, and my heart ached remembering this precious boy. Blackberry Pie Bars

Growing up we ate a lot of strawberries, but didn't branch out to blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.  I love blackberries the best!
