Final Weigh In (For the Moment)

I am taking the scale to Ben's apartment this morning. I had to do one final weigh in. I dropped a pound, so now I am down to 146 pounds. That puts my BMI at 22.9. Whether I want to admit it or not, the reality is that if I were to have the plastics that I need today, I would be darn close to the bottom of my BMI range (almost close to the underweight category....as I have lost 247 pounds....Many people estimate that for every 100 pounds you lose, you have about 7 pounds of excess skin. That means that I am probably in the range of 17-18 pounds of excess skin.)

This seems so surreal, that I am reaching a point to stop losing weight. I will still probably weigh on the 26th, just to keep things in check. I thought I would be in more of a celebratory mood upon reaching goal, but right now the top things on my mind are the acidosis and getting my bloodwork back in order.

Fit Day

I did Fit Day yesterday, and my calorie total came up to 3336 calories. Of course, after doing DS Math, I absorbed about 1100 calories. The majority of my calories came from fat first, protein next, and the least amount came from carbs. I don't think I am going to do Fit Day every day, but I will try to check in once a week or so just to see how things are going.

I am down another pound this morning. I weighed in at 205. As I've said a million times over, I am so ready to see ONDERLAND! :) I do want to do something big once I reach this milestone, but I'm not sure what. I would love to celebrate it with my KADS support group, and I'm sure that we will. I am still not at the regulation weight for skydiving, or I think I would go ahead and do that. I'll have to ponder this question a bit more.

A Drop

I weighed in this morning at 266.2. I have lost 127.4 pounds. I am down another pound. Only 11.2 pounds until an obese BMI. I am continually amazed at my increased energy level. I simply don't feel lethargic anymore. That brings a huge grin to my face.

I was successful both Saturday and Sunday at maintaining low carbs.

I am seeing my dad this morning since I have a doctor's appointment. I am going to get him to take a full body shot and a face shot for my six month update.

I am quickly approaching a place I have never been. Before, when I lost close to 100 pounds on phen-phen, I got down to about a size 22. (Maybe a 20 on a really good day.) On Saturday, I fit into a size 24. I cannot imagine what it will be like to get into the "teens" sizes, where the first digit is a 1 and not a 2. (Heck, at least I am OUT of the sizes where the first digit was a 3!!!)
