I think it's great that you can actually bring your kids homemade treats. They banned that here a LONG time ago. I want to say more than 20 years ago, because I think my brother was still in grade school. ONLY store-bought treats are allowed here.
Man, my mom used to make the most incredible treats for us, especially for our birthdays. It's sad that the kids don't get to experience that any more.
