Post Camp Post

I just got back from a week at camp, so these are some back logged recipes I hadn't posted.  We took five kids, and it was a great time.

Pineapple Bars

These look just like the Pineapple Bars, but posting the picture anyhow.

No Mention of the "F" Word...

I'm loving summer.  I'm not going to think about school at all for the next three weeks.  I've got two weeks with my family, and one week with Ben at the Mayo Clinic.  I'm not mentioning the word "Fall."

What I've Been Reading...

I am a huge Margaret Feinberg fan.  I've read all her books, and have done all her Bible studies.  My women's group is doing her Fight Back with Joy Bible study, and I decided to read the book behind the study.  The book walks through Margaret's fight with breast cancer.

The Prankster Gets Pranked

My Classroom Got Pranked

There were chairs and desks all scattered about, dry eraser markers all over the floor, etc.  HH was ready to defend my honor, and prank the lady right back.  This is when I reminded him of the three most recent pranks I had played on her.

Reading and Cooking

Friday was staff development day.  It was a LONG day.  Fortunately, I was allowed to be in my room and work on things that I needed to get done.  I listened to a book on Audible:

It is pretty gritty, but talking about drugs, and is hard not to be gritty.  I'm trying to branch out and read more fiction.  Since fiction is not my "go to" genre, listening on Audible has made for a great chance to build fiction into my reading routine.

Tomorrow I took the day off so I could go get our taxes prepared.  I wanted to get it done before I head to Guatemala in April.
