Caving, Golfing, and Good Eats....

HH and I slept in, and then went to Marengo Caves in Marengo, Indiana. We had a great time. I've been to Mammoth Cave many times, so it was nice going to a "new" cave, where I didn't quite know what to expect. The next trip there, I would like to do a crawling tour...BUT, I want to do a dry one. They have some where you have to wade through water up to your chest, and that doesn't sound like my idea of fun.

Look how close my head is to the ceiling.....now that is close. HH had to dunk in many parts of the cave.

You toss a coin up and it will stick to the ceiling...at the end of each year, they remove them and donate it to a designated charity.

HH throwing our coin up...
Funny face...

I got a girl in front of us to take our picture....she must have taken 200 pictures.

They used to have square dances in the cave, and I was trying to imitate for the camera.

They had a church down in the cave for a few years, and this was the ledge that the preacher used as a pulpit. I had HH pretend like he was preaching.

3-D Golf with black lights....so much fun. We didn't keep score. Even if we did, HH will always let me win.

HH is slaying the dragon....
This place had such a great atmosphere. It looks like a modern firehouse. The bay type doors were all open, so we dined alfresco. The chef here has worked in many impressive restaurants in our city. He also serves a Croque Madame! I just recently learned about the glorious ham and cheese sandwich, and was so happy to be able to order (and pronounce) it. I can't do the sunny side up egg part though.

Funny story from HH....
He was at the pharmacy the other day, and they asked him my birthday for him to be able to pick up my medication. He told it to tech and they gave him the medication. He told them that he appreciated how they always asked for my birth date, so he wouldn't forget it. He said he wished they would also start asking him our anniversary date so that could stay in his memory too. (He does know our anniversary!)
Tonight HH and I watched The Express. It was such a great story.
